Student Mentoring Program

As part of our continued service to the community, the San Antonio Choral Society provides a mentoring program for high school and college students in the San Antonio area. Students are offered an opportunity to rehearse and perform standard choral repertoire and major works with our large choral ensemble. We value our mentees’ presence and their enthusiasm for the vocal arts that bring a richness and diversity to our organization.

Many of our secondary school students have gone on to schools of higher learning, earning music scholarships to support their college ambitions. Several of our university students return to the San Antonio environs as educators and clinicians in schools throughout the region. We are always honored to be able to affect the lives of those who have chosen to sing with us.

High School Scholarship Award

Each year, the Choral Society offers scholarships toward college expenses for which graduating high school seniors may apply.

Our most recent recipient, honored at our "Echoes in Time" concert, was Jack Stanton. Congratulations Jack!
